Design Assist
Working under the General Contractor, Architect and Engineer, we lend our extensive experience to the design, equipment selection, and alternative options for the proposed HVAC and Plumbing systems. Having executed projects within multiple vertical markets, in a variety of different formats, we will help deliver the maximum impact value as a design-assist subcontractor.
Design Build
The past five years has seen a major shift in the mechanical industry, moving away from simple subcontracting to co-created value partnerships. Partnerships in which all parties of the industry collectively design, create, and implement the optimal solution. Seeing this market shift, we have created and refined our Pre-Construction Department, which is uniquely built to seamlessly manage projects from A-Z. Our Design Build projects give our clients greater insight and transparency between all of our solution partners.
Plan & Spec
For 41+ years, Control Air has been executing on projects that require a fixed and final price bid on a detailed set of construction documents. Our Estimating, Engineering, and Project Managers work closely together to join experience and knowledge in order to deliver on insight, price, and project schedule commitment.
Lean Construction
We are proud to operate one of the largest mechanical fabrication facilities in the country. Our 200,000+ square foot Shop, located on 17 acres, allows us to in-house fabricate our solution components. Our prefabricated parts and preassembled modules mean price control and logistic attentiveness, thus minimizing impact on project schedules and cost. Our Shop is fully integrated into our Detailing and Engineering divisions, allowing our solutions to seamlessly translate from computer, to machine, to jobsite.
Value Engineering
We are continually seeking insight to optimize the value of our projects. Whether we are designing, estimating, or constructing, we continually look for improved efficiencies, lower cost, and reduced environmental impact. Our teams, whether in the office or in the field, are encouraged and trained to look for further refinements in our solutions – engineering value for clients from start to finish.
WBE & Minority
Participation
In early 2015 Control Air joined forces with Air Flow Mechanical, a prominent Women Owned Mechanical Corporation here in Southern California to form a Joint Venture initiative. Our join venture meets all requirements and accreditations for WBE participation. This provides immense value to clients specifically interested in working with Women Owned Business Enterprises (WBE).
